We build and manage Legacy Gift programs for Christian nonprofits.

What does Money for Ministry do?

Our primary focus is to help your ministry increase estate gifts and interested prospects. We accomplish this by helping you facilitate deeper ministry relationships with your supporters.

Our unique messaging and approach gets to the heart of what your donors value most and reframes their perspective of giving through their desire to honor God with an ultimate act of worship and stewardship.

What is a “Legacy Gift?”

“Legacy Gift” is a term that represents a charitable gift someone leaves for an organization in their Will or Trust. It’s often called a “legacy gift” because it says so much about what a person truly values when they look at their lifetime of hard work and savings. They’ve chosen to leave a legacy that honors God by committing a portion for the cause of Christ.

This sounds a lot like “Planned Giving.” Are they the same thing?

Legacy giving and planned giving are related, but different. A “Planned Gift” refers to all the ways people can give to a ministry beyond their checkbook (this includes stock gifts, annuities, retirement assets, real estate, business interests, life insurance, etc.). We emphasize legacy giving because everyone understands what a gift in a Will is, and because legacy gifts are the starting point for 85-90 percent of planned gift donors.

What can I expect if I work with Money for Ministry?

Our clients tell us we are trusted friends and partners (not just another vendor). That makes our heart leap for joy, because we truly see ourselves as an extension of your team. We treat your ministry, your team, and your planned gift growth program as though it were our own. That’s because we are motivated by the same thing you are – a deep desire to see the gospel of Jesus Christ change lives.
